As a result of a 2+2 articulation agreement between NTCC and Texas A&M University - Texarkana (TAMU-T), a bachelors degree in criminal justice is available to students on the NTCC campus, via online and distance education courses.

Students, after receiving core requirements through NTCC, can then make a seamless transition to TAMU-T to complete the final two years of coursework. The majority of Texarkana coursework is offered on the NTCC campus, and is taught by TAMU-T or NTCC instructors or via distance education.

In an effort to further expand baccalaureate programs on the NTCC campus, TAMU-T is now also offering four-year programs in teacher education and BAAS (Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences).
