The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program at Northeast Texas Community College recently learned that the class of 2010 had a 100% pass rate on the first attempt for its state licensure exams. According to program director Nancy Wilson, this is the third year in a row that the program has had all students pass on the first try.

“Typically, you will see a 100% pass rate of a graduating class every 5-8 years. Hopefully, we can continue with this uncommon trend with our PTA graduates,” Wilson said.

The PTA program at NTCC is a competitive, 17-month program that prepares students for a career as a state licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. For more information about the program - including career tracks, admissions criteria, etc. - visit or call 903-434-8124.
