GED graduates named to National Adult Education Honor Society

The Titus County Literacy Advisory Council recently honored 12 deserving General Equivalency Diploma (GED) students from Northeast Texas Community College by inducting them into the National Adult Education Honor Society (NAEHS). Those inducted were: Front row (from left) are Jesus Martinez, Martina Delgadillo, Angelica Valdovinos, Mary Hampton, Monica Mullery, Elisabeth Rocha and Casey Carroll. Back row (from left) are Delmas Roney, Martha Gibson, Elisabeth Goins, Christopher Chastain and David Jones. Monica Mullery is a resident of Bogata and the other 11 inductees are all from Mount Pleasant. These students showed exceptional dedication while completing their GED through the NTCC Adult Education Department program. GED classes are offered free of charge in several locations throughout the NTCC service area. For more information about the GED program, please call 903-434-8252.
