Academics & Instruction  

Northeast Texas Community College's primary purpose is to meet the variety of educational needs of individuals within its service area.

  • The college provides the freshman and sophomore years of traditional baccalaureate programs.
  • The college trains technicians for business and industry.
  • The college supplies background courses essential to up-grading one's job.
  • The college enables people to pursue leisure and avocational interests through planned activities.
Courses are offered in the day and evening during the academic year, two summer sessions, and during intersession (between Fall and Spring semesters, and between Spring semester and Summer I session). Students may enroll for part-time or full-time study.
