HESI Non-Student  

To Schedule a Test
1.    Go to http://evolve.elsevier.com and click on I’m a student.

2.    In the HESI Secured Exams section, click the link that says Register for Results and Remediation.      

3.    Click Register For This Now to place this in your cart, and then Redeem/Checkout from the cart screen.

4.    If you are a returning user, enter your Evolve username and password and click Login. If you are new to Evolve, enter your name, email, desired password, institution information (if applicable), and click Continue.

To Make a Payment
To make a HESI Exam payment through your Evolve account, follow these simple steps:
You’ll receive a HESI eCommerce Student Payment Notification E-mail from the testing center.

1.    Click on the link provided in the E-mail and you will be prompted to login to your Evolve account.

2.    Once you are successfully logged in, select HESI Assessment — Student Access > Payments. Sections 1 and 2 will be pre-populated with your payment ID and information.

3.    Enter your billing information into Section 3. After payment confirmation, a proof of payment statement will be displayed and stored in your account under Payment History. The cost of the exam is $38.00 plus a $2.00 e-commerce fee for a total of $40.00.  When you arrive for testing, you will need to pay a $30.00 proctoring fee.

4.    Elsevier exam payments are NON-REFUNDABLE and are valid until you take your test.

Once you have registered, the HESI Assessment — Student Access link will appear under the
My Evolve section in your Evolve account.

What do I need to bring with me on the day I am schedule to test?
 Bring both of your payment receipts.  All examinees must have a photo ID on testing day to be admitted.  We will provide scratch paper, pencils, and a calculator for examinee.  Cell phones and electronic devices are prohibited in the Testing Center.

How much time should I plan to spend taking the HESI exam?
•    The average time most examinees take for completing the entire exam is two and a half to three hours. This can vary depending on your reading speed and amount of time to answer questions and if you take only the required sections or the entire exam

The HESI A2 is available by appointment only.  You will not be tested on a walk-in or stand-by basis under any circumstances.  Appointments can be made by calling the Testing Center.  

The Testing Center is located in the Student Services Building on the NTCC campus.
