Accreditation

The Northeast Texas Community College Dental Hygiene program is a fully accredited program by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA-CODA).  Dental and dental hygiene education program accreditation is granted through ADA-CODA, the accrediting body for all of dentistry.  When ADA-CODA accreditation is awarded to education programs, it indicates the program has met or exceeded the basic accreditation requirements through nationally established education standards for the dental field. Every seven years, ADA-CODA schedules a site visit to review our program. The NTCC Dental Hygiene program site visit was conducted on December 3-4, 2013.
