Preliminary Required Classes (Pre-requisite)

Prerequisite courses must be taken prior to NTCC Dental Hygiene program admission; some courses must be taken prior to program application. All prerequisite courses are offered at NTCC; however, these same courses may be taken at colleges and universities other than NTCC for transfer credit. Permissible courses (as noted below) in progress during the spring and summer semester immediately preceding fall program entry are admissible for program requirements. However, keep in mind that incomplete course work may affect applicant priority placement in the application process. GPA for all hard sciences must be 3.5 or above.

Program applications are competitive; GPA is a factor.
