2012 Firefighter Academy
Prerequisites: Must have high school diploma or GED and be 18 years of age by ending class date.

Must complete Emergency Care Attendant (ECA) or EMT-Basic within one year of class ending date.
Length: 42 weeks - January through November
Monday & Wednesday - 6 pm -10 pm
Every other Saturday - 8am - 5 pm
Classes held at the Mt Pleasant Central Fire Station

Students will provide their own personal protective equipment. The personal protective equipment must meet NFPA standards and will be inspected prior to use by academy staff.
