Welcome to the Northeast Texas Community College's reaccreditation website. Accreditation is a voluntary, continuous process in which our college evaluates itself against the rigorous institutional accountability standards of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Earning, and maintaining accreditation is an important way in which NTCC assures our community (local, state and national) of the quality of our educational endeavors.
Although we will spend extra time and effort during the reaffirmation process to focus on the articulation and documentation of our institutional effectiveness, the reality is that we continuously place a strong priority on the principles of accreditation. The board of trustees, administration, faculty and staff of Northeast Texas Community College keep educational quality at the forefront of all we do.
I am particularly grateful to those campus faculty and staff who have particular responsibilities with the reaffirmation process. It is these individuals and workgroups who collect the resources you find on this website, as well as lead the internal planning and review tasks behind these reports.
Northeast Texas Community College exists to provide responsible, exemplary learning opportunities to all we serve.
President, Northeast Texas Community College
