Description of Job Duties:
This position provides mental health prevention and intervention services, including but not limited to crisis intervention, biopsychosocial assessment, and individual and/or group therapeutic services that impact student success and educational attainment. This position includes collaborating with a diverse multi-disciplined team of faculty, staff, and students that promotes personal and professional growth
Experience and other qualifications required:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited institution (required)
- Requires current license in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Psychologist
- Minimum three years of related experience working with college students or young adults
- Preferred experience and/or trauma-informed training (preferred)
- Preferred experience working with a diverse population (preferred)
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are required
- Must have knowledge of computer/software applications.
