Kathy Russell, DDS

Current position: Full time Faculty/Supervising Dentist

Experience: Dr. Kathy Russell is the Associate Professor of Oral Medicine at the University of Texas Health Northeast Tyler. She also is the Supervising Dentist for UTHNT and for the Tyler Junior College Dental Studies Program. Dr. Russell also currently serves as Adjunct Supervising Dentist for the NTCC Dental Hygiene Program. Dr. Russell is a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Hygiene Educators Association. Dr. Russell was a successful practitioner of general dentistry for 26 years prior to originally joining NTCC in 2008 as adjunct faculty and later that same year was hired as full-time faculty/supervising dentist for the program. Dr. Russell taught 6 years as a full-time dental hygiene faculty member with NTCC. In May 2014, Dr. Russell took the position of Associate Professor of Oral Medicine/Supervising Dentist at University of Texas Health Center Northeast at Tyler and Tyler Junior College Dental Studies Department.
