Students at Northeast Texas Community College now have a new option for a lab science class. Beginning in the fall 2010 semester, NTCC is offering Introduction to Environmental Science (ENVR 1401), which will fulfill the lab science requirement for an associate’s degree.

The class will cover a variety of topics, with a special emphasis on the interaction of humans with their environment. Students will become more aware of the world around them as they look at subjects like the scientific method, population, community and ecosystem dynamics, biodiversity and evolution, climate, and biomes and their sustainable management.
