Northeast Texas Community College recently held its spring 2011 Service Learning Celebration to honor five students who participated in a special class that promotes community service. This semester students worked with the Girl’s Club, Communities In Schools, Titus Regional Hospital Auxiliary, Hospitality House and the Child Development Center. Pictured above are the students who participated this fall: (from left) Holly Paredes of Pittsburg, instructor Hazel Rudd of Daingerfield, Jamie Castaneda of Pittsburg and Carly Bowen of Mount Pleasant.
