Directions

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is located just outside of Mount Pleasant, Texas (in the Northeastern part of Texas). Between Dallas and Texarkana on Interstate-30, Mount Pleasant is the largest community in the NTCC service area. Mount Pleasant is approximately 110 miles East of Dallas; about 70 miles Northeast of Tyler; about 50 miles Northeast of Longview; and about 60 miles West of Texarkana. The college is about 6 miles southeast of Mount Pleasant. Our physical address is FM 1735 (Chapel Hill Road) - Mount Pleasant, Texas 75455. (Please note: because NTCC is located in a rural area of Northeast Texas, Internet mapping services do not accurately depict our location. Use the maps below to orient yourself to our area.)

This map shows Northeast Texas in a little more detail, showing Mount Pleasant/NTCC in relation to Dallas, Tyler, Longview, and Texarkana. Driving directions are outlined below.



From points south: From Kilgore or Longview: Take U.S. 259 from Longview to Daingerfield. At Daingerfield, take State Highway 11 to F.M. 1735 (there will be a sign at the juncture of 11 and 1735 that says, "Northeast Texas Community College, 5 miles.") Take a right, and go five miles. The college is on the left. From Tyler: Take U.S. 271 into Pittsburg. Turn right on State Highway 11 and follow it about 5 miles to F.M. 1735 where you will see a sign, "Northeast Texas Community College, 8 miles." Take a left, go five miles, and the college will be on your left.

From points north and east: From Paris: Take U.S. 271 to Mount Pleasant. When you pass under Interstate 30, (you'll see El Chico) you will go about 2.3 miles to the 5th traffic light (you will see a large shopping center at that intersection with Super One, Bealls, etc.) continue heading east through the light (Hwy 49), you should see a sign which says, "Northeast Texas Community College--6 miles." Go 3 miles to F.M. 1735. There is a Conoco station/store on the corner and a sign that says, "Northeast Texas Community College, 3 miles. Make a right onto F.M. 1735 and go 3 miles. College is on the right.

From Texarkana: Take Interstate 30 west to Mount Pleasant exit 160 and follow the directions above in "from Paris***".

From Dallas: Take Interstate 30 East to Mount Pleasant; exit 160 and follow the direction above in "from Paris***".
