Scholarship Information  

Institutional Scholarships Northeast offers Departmental Scholarships for the following areas: Art, Athletics, Music, Nursing, Theatre. To apply for these scholarships contact the department head.



Foundation Scholarships
Due Date is March 29, 2013

Foundation Scholarships are awarded in April for the fall and spring semester of the following academic year. Applications are available on the NTCC Website or in the Advancement office. Deadline for submitting applications is March 29th. A number of local organizations, businesses, and individuals provide scholarships to students through the Northeast Foundation. These scholarships are awarded by the Northeast Scholarship Committee. Contact the Advancement Office for information and applications.

International Sulphur Transfer Scholarships
Due Date is April 15th, 2013

These annual scholarships were established by International Sulphur, Inc. of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, for students who plan to transfer to another college after completing course work at NTCC. To qualify students must be majoring in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Education or Engineering. Students must be transferring from NTCC, be a resident of Camp, Morris or Titus County, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Financial need is a consideration. Five recipients will receive $1,000 each. The funds will be transferred to each students account at the selected college where they must be enrolled as a full-time student and are to be used for expenses including tuition, fees, books, room and board.

COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIPS

Morris County Community Scholarship
Due Date is First Class Day of Fall Semester

These competitive scholarships are awarded based on financial need. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for one of these scholarships. If you receive an award letter the scholarship will cover resident tuition for up to 12 hours. Students will be required to pay fees. Students needing assistance to pay fees at the time of registration should check with the Business Office at NTCC for financing options.




Mt. Pleasant Community Scholarship
Due Date is First Class Day of Fall Semester

Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for one of these scholarships The Scholarship will cover resident tuition and fees for up to 12 hours for the top 10% of Mt. Pleasant and Chapel Hill 2009 graduating classes. Remaining students will receive resident tuition for up to 12 hours. Those students will be required to pay fees. Students requiring assistance to pay fees at the time of registration should check with the Business Office at NTCC for financing options.




Camp County Unites Scholarships

Due Date is First Class Day of Fall Semester

These competitive scholarships are awarded based on financial need. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for one of these scholarships. If you receive an award letter the scholarship will cover resident tuition for up to 12 hours. Students will be required to pay fees. Students needing assistance to pay fees at the time of registration should check with the Business Office at NTCC for financing options.
