Jennifer Hessner was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. After high school, she attended Glendale Community College to receive her associate degree in general studies. She transferred to Arizona State University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2010. She continued with her education and graduated with a Master of Arts in Education for School Guidance Counseling from Ottawa University in 2013. Jennifer has seventeen years of experience as a case manager for both children and adults working in the behavioral health field. She also worked as a school counselor and teacher for several years. Previously, she worked in an acute inpatient setting at a behavioral health hospital for four years as a therapist and case manager. Jennifer is excited to be at NTCC and back in the education field where her passion is! In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and learning about homesteading skills for our growing farm.
