NTCC to host job fair May 1

Northeast Texas Community College will host a job fair on Tuesday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building (SUB) on the main NTCC campus. The event is free to the public.†More than a dozen local and regional employers will be in attendance.



"We realize that the job market is tough right now. We are offering this fair as an opportunity for job seekers to get face time with area hiring managers," Alex Ortega, NTCC Advisor/Recruiting Specialist, said.



Representatives from the following organizations are scheduled to be in attendance: Guaranty Bond Bank, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Texas Game Warden, Titus Regional Medical Center, Mount Pleasant Healthcare Center, Jordan Healthcare Services, U.S. Marines, Hiring Partners Inc., Texas Veterans Commission, U.S. Army National Guard, Tyson Foods, Pilgrim's Pride Corporation, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Steve Austin will be available to assist local veterans with benefits.



Prospective employees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes to distribute.
