NTCC now offers online requests for official transcripts

Northeast Texas Community College office recently announced that students may now request official transcripts online through the NTCC Campus Connect system.

While students have been able to print unofficial transcripts for some time, official transcripts still required a written request until now. The new system allows students to log into their Campus Connect account via the myEagle portal (at ntcc.edu) and complete this process online. †Students are able to select from a pre-determined list of colleges and universities, or have the transcript available for pick-up in the Registrar?s Office. In addition, a link to a printable form is on the same webpage, and the form can be filled out and faxed in if a student wishes the transcripts to be sent to a home address, and employer, or college not identified in the list given.

"This is a great new feature that will save a lot of time for both our students and staff. We believe this will cut down on our processing times significantly," Betsy Gooding, NTCC Registrar said.

This is the most recent in a series of online improvements NTCC has made over the past two years. Most students are now eligible to register online, †which is a significant time saver over in-person registration.

"While we encourage students to use the online processes whenever possible, we also want them to know that we are still here for them. There are always advisors on hand to help students make informed decisions about their education," Dr. Judy Traylor, NTCC Vice President for Outreach and Student Services, said.

Applications are now being accepted for the Summer and Fall 2012 semesters. Students are encouraged to apply early. Visit†www.ntcc.edu†or call 903-434-8100 for more information.
