The Adult Education Department at Northeast Texas Community College will offer free General Education Development (GED) classes in Mount Pleasant.†Both day and evening classes are available.†Students interested in attending classes must enroll in a 12-hour orientation. Orientation and classes will be held at the Adult Education Center located in Room 126 of the Mount Pleasant ISD Administration Building at 105 N. Riddle. †The day orientation will be September 4-6 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and classes begin September 10. The evening orientation will be September 4, 5, 11, and 12 from 5-8 p.m. and classes begin September 18. Call 903-434-8639 for more information.
