Tickets are still available for the Jason Vieaux guitar concert that will be held Tuesday night (Oct. 2) at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for students.
"Vieaux is an immensely talented artist and music educator. We are looking forward to his performance at the Whatley Center," Carolyn Franks, Director of the Whatley Center, said.
This concert will include selections from Bach, Argentinean, 19th Century Italian, Modern, Renaissance,†Spanish, Delta Blues, and Jazz - all in just over 60 minutes.†Vieaux is expanding the definition of what it means to be a classical guitarist and changing the face of guitar†repertoire, building a devoted audience and fan base along the way. He is a musician noted for virtuosic and stirring†performances, imaginative programming, and uncommon communicative gifts.
