Hall holds state office for Phi Theta Kappa

Ashley Hall, a member of the Northeast Texas Community College Phi Theta Kappa Alpha Mu Chi chapter, is currently serving as a state officer for the Phi Theta Kappa Organization. Hall, of Leesburg, was elected to the office of District III Vice President of the Texas Region of Phi Theta Kappa during the spring 2013 semester. In this role, she serves on the Texas Regional Officer team and represents 18 colleges in the Northeast Texas region. She is also responsible for planning and attending statewide events. This summer she attended the International Honors Institute at Villanova University in Philadelphia, planned and attended the Texas Honors Institute at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, and visited†Texas A&M University to help plan†the Texas Leadership Conference that is scheduled for October. In addition to her work in Phi Theta Kappa, Hall is also a member of NTCC Honors. She is a bilingual education major and plans to transfer to Texas A&M University-Texarkana after graduating from NTCC.
