The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles (NTCC) baseball team took two of three in their series with Navarro College this past week helping to keep their playoff hopes alive.† The Eagles won the first game by a score of 2-1 and †dropped the second game 4-1 but fought back in the nightcap with a 9-4 victory.† Although the Eagles control their own destiny they must win their last three games.† Winning two of three would tie them for the last playoff spot but they would lose the tiebreaker due to their record against the team they are tied with.† All three games are against Angelina at home this weekend, the same team they are fighting against for the playoffs.† The first game is Friday night, May 2, at 6 p.m. followed by a double header on Saturday, May 3, beginning at 1 p.m.
