In celebration of National Medical Assistants Recognition Week, the Northeast Texas Community College Medical Assisting/Medical Coding program will host an informational session Tuesday, Oct. 20. Anyone interested in pursuing a career as a medical assistant or medical coder are invited to attend to learn about NTCC's training program. Medical assistants are versatile healthcare professionals who function in both administrative and patient care roles. The session will be from 6-7 p.m. in room 245 of the University Health Science Building on the main NTCC campus. For more information, call Julie Smith at 903-434-8124.
