Theatre Northeast to perform April 27-30

Theatre Northeast, the student theatre group of Northeast Texas Community College, will present variety of monologues, scenes, songs, dramatic readings and a short play on-stage in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts April 27-30. The Thursday through Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee is at 2:05 p.m.

?We're trying something a little different for our last show of the school year.† I'm excited for our audience to see the scope of talent Northeast students have,? Martin Holden, Director of Theatre Northeast, said. ?With†material ranging from Shakespeare, contemporary comedy, original works, folk music and a science fiction short play, the evening will definitely be eclectic.?

General admission is $5 for adults; $3 for students 17 and under, senior citizens, NTCC faculty and staff; and free for NTCC students with ID. Due to the intimate nature of the event, seating is limited and reservations are recommended. Seats can be reserved by calling the Whatley Center box office at 903-434-8181. The performance will contain mature language and adult themes, so parental discretion is advised.
