Dr. Clinton announces limited campus reopening

E-mail announcement sent from Dr. Ron Clinton  - Friday, May 29

Dear NTCC Eagles,

I am pleased to announce that Northeast Texas Community College will begin a limited reopening of our main campus this summer to students and visitors who need more personal access to essential services beginning Monday, June 1, 2020! Although we wish we could open more fully at this time, in order to comply with Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s recent GA-18 and GA-23 directives on building occupancy limits, campus visits will be by appointment only until further noticeYou can click here for a directory of available services and departments to call or e-mail to schedule a convenient time for your visit.

NTCC will continue offering our wide array of student services and the majority of classes online throughout the summer, but for those of you joining us on campus, we have put some important steps in place to keep everyone safe.  All employees, students and visitors must check in at the UHS Building (2 story building with clock tower) to complete a quick wellness check when first arriving on campus. Wristbands will be issued on completing the check and required to be worn before entering any campus building. We are also requiring face coverings be worn when entering buildings and in all indoor spaces where social distancing is not possible. (If you do not have a face covering, not to worry, one will be provided to you as part of the check-in process.)  To get more complete information on the campus reopening and other things we’re doing to keep our campus safe you can click here

Eagles… please let us know how we can help you in any way.  We continue to miss having you on our campus and look forward to seeing you soon.

As always, we are here to support and empower you to succeed!

Dr. Ron Clinton

President

Northeast Texas Community College
