Students from Northeast Texas Community College took part in reading events hosted by Hughes Springs and Daingerfield’s Head Start programs. As a special project for their Voice for the Theatre class; Haylee Wilson, Star Williams, and Hailey Marshall adapted two Dr. Seuss books, then staged and rehearsed the new “reader’s theatre.” The Northeast students then performed the new works on March 3rd, at two Dr. Seuss celebrations, for approximately 85 pre-k students.
