Are you an EMT looking to take your career to the next level? Northeast Texas Community College has designed a new hybrid, shift-based Paramedic course (DSHS #618723) with your schedule in mind.

The NTCC paramedic program is accredited by CAAHEP (CoAEMSP program 600504) and is a 12 month program. Thirty percent of the course is online recorded lecture.

The class will meet based off the 24/48 shift schedule. The first class day will be Monday 8/22/2022.  It will meet on Tuesday and Wednesday one week then Monday and Thursday for two weeks, rotating. There is a clinical component required outside of class time.

The eligibility requirements state you must be a Current Texas or National Registered EMT or AEMT.  There is not a transition outlet from AEMT to Paramedic aligned with this course. You must take to full course to be eligible to complete the program.

Financial Aid is available. We have 100% funded grants, scholarships and workforce funding opportunities available for those that qualify.

If you want to go even further, an Associate Applied Science degree is offered as well as the Parmedic level 2 workforce certificate.
