Baseball announces spring schedule

The 2024 Northeast Texas Community College baseball schedule has been completed and includes a total of 55 games under head coach Andy Morgan. The schedule features 20 home dates (31 games) and 15 road dates (24 games). Of the 55 games, 30 are NJCAA Region 14 North Conference games, and 25 are non-conference games.

All always, the Eagles will play a challenging schedule. The season opener is a double header at Weatherford College (Jan. 27). The home opener at Eagle Field will be a double header vs Rich Mountain (Feb. 1), followed by a return trip to Mena Arkansas for another double header against Rich Mountain (Feb. 3). The Eagles will stay on the road and travel to Shreveport, LA for a game against Centenary College (Feb. 6). The Eagles return home for a three game series against Cowley College, out of Kansas (Feb. 9-10), and follow that up with a trip to Wilburton, Ok to play Eastern Oklahoma State College (Feb. 12). A five game home stand starts with a four game series against Howard College (Feb. 16-17) followed by a single game against Southeast Arkansas (Feb. 19). The rest of the NTCC baseball non-conference schedule will consist of home dates verse Eastern Oklahoma State College (Feb. 26), Weatherford College (Mar. 6), Brookhaven College (Mar. 11), Texas Post Grad (Mar. 18 and Apr. 10), and away dates at Murray State College (Feb. 21) and Centenary College (Mar. 4).  

NTCC Baseball will open conference play Feb. 24 at Panola College. The conference schedule consists of home and away dates against Navarro College, Angelina College, Paris Junior College, Panola College, Tyler Junior College and Bossier Parish Community College. Region 14 North conference games are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a total of 5 games being played against each conference opponent.

The Region 14 Conference tournament will be May 9-11 at a location to be announced.

The NJCAA World Series is held in Grand Junction, CO at Suplizio Field with times and dates to be announced.
