Members of NTCC'S chapter of the Psi Beta Honor Society created Valentine’s Day cards during social meetings earlier this semester. Neida Perez, Luke McGraw, Jonah McGraw, Aubrey Watkins, and Skylar Hodson (pictured) visited The Lodge Assisted Living & Memory Care in Mount Pleasant on Wednesday, February 14th to deliver the Valentine’s Day cards to residents. The staff and residents were excited to meet the students and greatly appreciated the cards.

The Valentine's card project was spearheaded by the NTCC Bookstore and other student groups delivered to seniors at additional nursing facilities.

Psi Beta is the national honor society in psychology for community colleges. Students are selected for the group based on their interest in the field of psychology and high academic performance. This is just one of the many activities that Psi Beta students participate in throughout the year. To learn more about the organization, contact Dr. Karyn Skaar at kskaar@ntcc.edu or 903-434-8293.
