Jennifer Sullivan is a wife and mother of two daughters, with a baby girl on the way. She started her college journey at NTCC and went on to earn a master’s degree in social work from Texas A&M University–Commerce. Today, she works as a Family Service Worker.

In her job, Jennifer helps families with low incomes find and access early childhood education for their young children. She works hard to remove obstacles that might stand in their way and makes sure parents have the support and resources they need to create safe, loving homes for their kids.

Jennifer was inspired to go into social work because she cares deeply about helping people who are struggling. She wanted a job where she could make a real difference. Social work lets her use both kindness and problem-solving to support families and help improve the community.

To students at Northeast Texas Community College, Jennifer advises getting involved—whether through clubs, volunteering, or internships. These opportunities not only strengthen resumes but also help students discover their interests and build valuable skills for the future."
