The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Men’s Rodeo Team is heading to the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in Casper, Wyoming, June 15-21, 2025, after claiming the team title at the final Southern Region College Rodeo of the season, hosted by Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas.

NTCC student-athletes delivered standout performances to secure their place on the national stage:

Kelon Andrews – Reserve Champion Header

Hayden Sanders – Reserve Champion Heeler

Teyton Barton – 3rd Place Heeler

“This is a huge achievement for our team, and we’re proud to see our athletes represent NTCC on a national level,” said NTCC Rodeo Coach Justin Hampton. “They’ve worked hard all season, and this is a well-earned opportunity.”

Sponsorship Opportunity – Support the Team on Their Road to Casper

Local businesses and community supporters are invited to help celebrate and support NTCC’s CNFR qualifiers through a limited-time advertising opportunity. Sponsors can have their logo featured on the official “NTCC CNFR Qualifiers” T-shirt, which will be sold to raise funds to support the team’s travel to Casper.

The T-shirts are being donated and designed by J6 Embroidery and Design (Kathy Johnson), with 100 shirts available for purchase. All proceeds go directly to helping our student-athletes with travel expenses.
