The annual Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo will return to the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Grounds October 9–11, 2025. You won’t want to miss the chance to see NTCC Eagles Rodeo athletes go up against some of the top competitors in the Southern Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.
“We are excited to welcome back veteran team members, as well as some talented new recruits. We sent three Eagles to the College National Finals Rodeo earlier this summer, and we hope to see even more compete at that level next year,” Justin Hampton, Head Rodeo Coach, said. “We are planning a great show for this year’s rodeo and I hope everyone will plan to come out to support our team.”
In the days leading up to the rodeo, NTCC will host Rodeo Week on campus October 6–9, featuring a variety of student activities at the Student Union Building during lunchtime. These events are designed to engage the student body and campus organizations while building excitement for the rodeo.
The rodeo schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, Oct. 9 – Special Performance at 6 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 10 – Slack at 9:00 AM; Evening Performance at 7 PM
- Saturday, Oct. 11 – Slack at 10:00 AM; Championship Round at 7 PM
