Two Eagles softball players named to All-Conference Team

NTCC's Eagles Softball program is proud to announce that two standout student-athletes, Kyndal Yaross and Preslielynn Barraza, have been named to the Second Team All-Conference for NJCAA Region 14, recognizing their outstanding performances during the 2025 season.

#17 Kyndal Yaross, a sophomore, delivered a strong all-around season. She posted a .329 batting average, tallied 5 home runs and 21 RBIs, and demonstrated defensive consistency with a .933 fielding percentage.

#7 Preslielynn Barraza, a freshman, made an immediate impact in her first collegiate season, finishing with a .449 batting average, 35 hits, 7 stolen bases, and a .463 on-base percentage.

Beyond their athletic accomplishments, both Yaross and Barraza also excelled academically. 

“This recognition is a testament to their work ethic, discipline, and dedication to being elite in every area,” said Haley Colwell, head coach of the Eagles. “Both Kyndal and Preslielynn embody what it means to be a Northeast Eagle—committed to excellence both on the field and in the classroom.”

The Eagles Softball program continues to build a culture that values academic achievement and athletic performance in equal measure, developing student-athletes who lead with integrity, character, and competitive drive.
