Quilts by local quilters are currently on display in the Whatley Center foyer in what is now an annual tradition for the NTCC art department. For the tenth year, quilters brought their treasured art to share with the community. The exhibit runs from Wednesday, Nov. 4th through Monday, Nov. 23rd.
"Our annual quilt exhibit has become a favorite among our patrons," Mileah Hall, NTCC Professor of Art, said. "We are thrilled to have 34 pieces on display this year, showcasing a wide variety of styles and traditions from this time-honored art form."
A reception is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 11th at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center foyer, and refreshments will be served.
The public is invited to view the exhibit during regular business hours, but please call ahead to 903-434-8181 to ensure the gallery is open.
