Celebrate America's 250th anniversary at NTCC

4th of july event

Northeast Texas Community College will commemorate a once-in-a-generation milestone with a patriotic campus celebration honoring the 250th anniversary of American independence.

The celebration will be held Thursday, July 2, from 12-2 p.m. at The Eagles Nest. NTCC students, faculty, staff, and veterans are invited to attend as the college honors those who have served and celebrates the freedoms we enjoy.

Guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, chips, and popsicles while spending time with friends and colleagues in a festive atmosphere. Everyone is encouraged to show their patriotic spirit by wearing red, white, blue, or camouflage attire.

"This year marks a truly historic milestone—250 years of American independence," organizers said. "We invite everyone to join us as we celebrate our nation, honor those who have served to protect the freedoms we enjoy, and come together as a campus community."

Whether you're taking summer classes, working on campus, or simply looking for an opportunity to celebrate with friends, all are welcome to attend this special event.
