Early giving is officially underway for East Texas Giving Day, and the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation is encouraging the community to support NTCC students ahead of the big day on April 28, 2026.
Donors can begin making contributions now at ntcc.edu/givingday, helping build momentum for one of the region’s largest annual days of giving.
NTCC enters this year’s campaign with an impressive track record, having been the top fundraiser for the event for four consecutive years. In 2025 alone, NTCC raised $557,833, demonstrating the incredible generosity of the community and the strong support for student programs.
“East Texas Giving Day has become a fun and meaningful tradition at NTCC, and we’re excited to see our student organizations and supporters come together once again,” said Nita May, Director of Development. “Early giving plays a vital role in building momentum and helping us reach our goals.”
Thanks to a $7,500 matching grant from the Burt and Nancy Marans Charitable Fund, all gifts up to that amount will be matched 100 percent—doubling the impact of each donation.
There are several ways to get involved and support NTCC:
- Give early — Donations are open now, and every dollar directly benefits NTCC students.
- Support a specific cause — Designate a specific student organization/club or department you'd like to support
- Create a Fundraising Page — Set a personal fundraising goal and encourage others to give.
- Spread the word — Share NTCC’s posts on social media to help expand the reach.
With continued community support, NTCC hopes to extend its streak as the event’s top fundraiser while making an even greater impact on student success.
