Join us for Weeks of Welcome events August 31 - September 3

Northeast Texas Community College will kick off the fall semester with Weeks of Welcome Aug. 31-Sept. 3. Students are invited to enjoy four days of free activities designed to help Eagles connect, have fun and get involved on campus.

Events are planned from noon to 1:30 p.m. each day:

  • Monday, Aug. 31 – BBQ Ribbon Cutting: Celebrate the new Athletics Complex Pavilion with free barbecue, drinks, games and giveaways at the Athletics Complex. The ribbon cutting will take place at 12:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 1 – Chair Yoga: Take a break and recharge with chair yoga in the Whatley Center foyer.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 2 – Flock Fest: Club Fair: Stop by the Student Union Building to meet student organizations, play games and find ways to get involved on campus.
  • Thursday, Sept. 3 – Pottery Palooza: Wrap up the week with a creative afternoon of pottery in the Student Union Building.
