The NTCC men’s soccer team is headed to postseason play as the No. 3 seed in the Region XIV Tournament.
The Eagles will travel to Brenham to face No. 2 seed Blinn College at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Rankin Field. NTCC secured the No. 3 seed after earning points in three of its final five games, including a key Sophomore Day matchup against Jacksonville College with tournament seeding on the line.
The Eagles will look to advance in the Region XIV Tournament for the first time in several years. The winner will move on to the next round Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Fans who can’t make the trip to Brenham can watch the game live on the TSBN junior college sports network.
“The young men have earned this opportunity, and I’m proud of the way they have worked and grown together as a unit on and off the field,” the NTCC coach said. “Blinn is a well-coached team and always competitive. They will be getting the best version of the Eagles. The guys have prepared well, and we will be ready to go Thursday night.”
