Mt. Pleasant Art Society show on display in Whatley foyer through March 25th

The NTCC Art Department is excited to host the Mount Pleasant Art Society Annual Membership Show from March 5–25 in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. This competitive exhibit showcases a variety of artwork by talented local artists in multiple media.

The gallery is open Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m.–noon, but will be closed March 16–20 for spring break. Before visiting, please call 903-434-8181 to confirm the gallery is open.

The funeral service program at NTCC was a great program that helped me become confident in the field. I learned great skills that will benefit me from being a funeral director to an embalmer. This program worked for me, being able to do it online remotely. I was able to work full-time; and gain knowledge from being able to work hands on doing an apprenticeship. The courses here at NTCC were beneficial and important to help us be successful as we go and serve the families in the areas where we reside. My experience here was amazing, the Funeral Service Professors were amazing and willing to help in any way to help us become successful. — Kelby Dayley
