Northeast Texas Community College Student Services, in partnership with TRIO Services, will celebrate National Student Transfer Week Oct. 19-22 with activities designed to help students explore opportunities after NTCC.
The week kicks off Monday, Oct. 19, with a Texas A&M University presentation, followed by an East Texas A&M University presentation Tuesday, Oct. 20. Both presentations will be held in SUB 101. On Wednesday, Oct. 21, students can wear transfer apparel and enjoy free popcorn in the SUB. The celebration continues Thursday, Oct. 22, with another transfer apparel day and free dirty sodas. All activities will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Transfer Week 2026.png
Faculty and staff are also encouraged, with supervisor approval, to join the transfer apparel days by wearing gear or colors from a university they attended or support. The goal is to spark conversations with students about transfer experiences and encourage them to think about their own plans after NTCC.
Whether students already know where they want to go next or are just beginning to explore their options, Transfer Week is a great opportunity to learn more about the possibilities available after NTCC.
