Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is proud to announce the launch of SaferWatch, a campus safety app designed to provide fast, easy access to emergency assistance and safety information.
SaferWatch allows students, faculty, and staff to quickly contact campus authorities or emergency services with the touch of a button. Users can also report non-emergency issues, ensuring the campus community stays informed and safe.

Parents and community members are encouraged to download SaferWatch as well. While they will not be able to submit reports, they can receive emergency alerts in real time, helping them stay informed about critical campus incidents.
Key Information about SaferWatch:
SaferWatch will replace NTCC’s current Iris Emergency Alert system.
Users should turn on location services when installing the app to ensure they receive notifications.
In addition to app notifications, students and employees will continue to receive text messages and phone calls with important emergency alerts.
“Safety is a shared responsibility,” said Kim Irvin, Co-Chair of NTCC's Safety and Security Committee. “With SaferWatch, we are giving everyone connected to our campus the tools to respond quickly and stay informed during emergencies.”
The app is available for download on both iOS and Android devices. NTCC encourages all students, employees, and community members to sign up today to help make campus safety a priority.
