Establish A Scholarship

Establish a Scholarship

Scholarships are a major focus of the NTCC Foundation. Each year hundreds of students are able to attend college thanks to an NTCC scholarship. There are many different ways in which donors can contribute to scholarships at NTCC.

Who gives scholarships?

Anyone can give a scholarship! NTCC receives scholarships from many sources including individuals, gifts from estates, civic clubs, businesses and others. Many individuals choose to donate a scholarship in memory of a loved one or to honor an employee, friend or relative.

What types of scholarships can you give?

Annual Scholarship:
To establish an annual scholarship you must have a minimum of $500. This named scholarship can be good for one year or renewed annually.

Perpetual Scholarship:
To establish a perpetual scholarship a person must have a minimum of $10,000. The funds received from the earnings on the investment will be awarded toward the cost of tuition, fees, and/or books. This named scholarship will remain in effect as long as the College continues to exist.

Endowed Scholarship:
To fully endow a scholarship a person must have a minimum of $25,000. The funds received from the earnings on the investment will be used to pay for a full scholarship (tuition, fees, and books) for one student each year. This named scholarship will remain in effect as long as the College exists.

The donor, along with the assistance of the College, will design the guidelines for establishing the scholarship criteria. Please contact the NTCC Advancement Office at 903-434-8115 for an appointment to establish your scholarship. In addition to the general scholarship fund, all annual, perpetual and endowed scholarships will accept contributions at any time.
