The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation held its annual Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 19, at Princedale Country Club. The tournament raised over $15,000 to support the NTCC Work4College Program.
The Guaranty Bank & Trust team won the six-man scramble, shooting 20 under par.
The winning team (pictured from left) included Sarah Thomas, Robin Sharp, Cliff Hale, Michael Whitney, and Greg Brown. In the closest-to-the-hole contest, Sydney Harper won first place, and Adam Barrickman won second place.
Participating teams included American National Bank, Bowie Cass Electric, Guaranty Bank & Trust, Pilgrim’s, Texas Heritage National Bank, Great Western Dining, and NTCC teams one and two. Additional sponsors included Cypress Bank and SWEPCO. The NTCC Culinary Arts program catered a hamburger lunch for the event.
“We would like to thank everyone who came out to support the tournament this year. The funds we raised will go directly toward sponsoring students in the Work4College Program,” Mason May, NTCC Director of Work4College, said. “We are also very grateful to Princedale Country Club for donating the use of their beautiful golf course and clubhouse for the event.”
