The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Men?s Eagles Soccer team†kept their†undefeated record intact after†knocking off both Eastern Oklahoma State College and Murray State College this†past†week. The team was named tenth in the nation by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in the September 2 poll.

Women's soccer kicks off season with a win
The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Women?s Eagles Soccer team kicked off their season with a win this week defeating Eastern Oklahoma State College 3-1 on Wednesday.
Eastern Oklahoma put their first and only point on the board at 15-minutes into the first half. Ruth Rosales scored the first goal for the Eagles 15 minutes later and Michelle Butron assisted McKenzia Goedicke, pulling the Eagles into the lead 40 minutes into the game.

The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) men?s Eagles Soccer team carried their record-breaking momentum from last year into their first regular season games this weekend defeating both nationally ranked Eastern Florida State College and Mississippi Gulf Coast College in a mini tournament at Pensacola, Florida.

Northeast to offer small engine repair class
Are you new to small engines and just don't know where to start? If so, the Northeast Texas Community College Continuing Education Department has an upcoming course for you. Small Engine Repair for the Beginner will be offered on Thursday nights from September 25 through November 13. The class meets from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the Pittsburg High School Career and Technology Building.

NTCC open Saturday, Aug. 23 for registration
Northeast Texas Community College will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 23 to assist students with registration for the Fall †2014 semester. Students will have the opportunity to meet with academic advisors, access computers to register online, make payments and receive help with financial aid.
The College Store will also be open during this time to allow students to purchase books and other supplies.
