CPR for Healthcare Providers†? Open to health professionals only (or those in training for a health care field), this eight-hour course is designed to give instruction in lifesaving skills.

This $1,000 gift to the NTCC Honors program marks the fifth year in a row that Cypress has supported a NTCC Scholar with the use of a new laptop. The Tennison Memorial United Methodist Women recently gave a $500 scholarship to the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation. The group contributes a scholarship annually to help a deserving NTCC student offset college expenses. The Eagles? men?s soccer team has jumped out to a 3-3 record this season despite battling nationally-ranked opponents and injuries to key personnel.

After opening the season with a 2-1 win at Ranger, the Eagles were on the road for a conference matchup in their second game as they faced Coastal Bend College in Beeville Sept.
