Shelby Automotive Program - Auto body

The Flight of the Phoenix Aviation Museum in Gilmer recently donated $1,000 to benefit the Auto Body portion of the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology program at Northeast Texas Community College. The Northeast Texas Community College Adult Education department recently hosted a three-hour training session for 22 adult education teachers. The seminar was entitled Goal-Driven Instruction for Adult Learners and was held at the newly established Industrial Technology Training Center (ITTC) located in Mt. Pleasant. Through numerous training activities, teachers were taught how to create and implement a Student Learning Plan (SLP) for all students and how to differentiate between personal and National Reporting System (NRS) goals.
