Whatley Center announces 2025-2026 "Heart of the Arts" season lineup

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College is thrilled to announce its 2025–2026 Heart of the Arts season. As NTCC celebrates its 40th anniversary, the Whatley Center is marking the milestone year with an exciting blend of national touring acts, local talent, theatre productions, and art exhibits. Women’s Soccer defeats Richland College

The NTCC women’s soccer team turned in a dominant performance on the road, defeating Richland College 4–1 on Saturday night. The Eagles controlled the pace from the opening whistle and never looked back, securing an important victory, heading conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Freshman striker Kirsheema Ince had a standout performance, recording a hat trick to lead the NTCC attack. Ince opened the scoring in the first half and added two more goals after the break to put the game firmly in the Eagles’ control.

Police Department swears in Daniel Madden as newest officer

The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Police Department officially welcomed its newest officer, Daniel Madden, during a swearing-in ceremony held on campus this week.

Chief of Police Russell Radke administered the oath of office to Officer Madden, who was then presented his badge by his training officer, Sergeant Greg Hollingsworth. NTCC President Dr. Kevin Rose followed by presenting Madden with his official certificate of commission.
