The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 26th. A Public Hearing on Proposed 2025-2026 Operating Budget and Proposed Tax Rate was held prior to the meeting. There were no public comments.

The latest issue highlights accomplishments of current students and alumni, shares updates on recent events, and offers a glimpse into the many opportunities available through the program.
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College is thrilled to announce its 2025–2026 Heart of the Arts season. As NTCC celebrates its 40th anniversary, the Whatley Center is marking the milestone year with an exciting blend of national touring acts, local talent, theatre productions, and art exhibits. Tickets for all shows are now on sale!
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) launched the 2025–2026 school year with a week full of excitement, connection, and community spirit.
Northeast Texas Community College will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1st in observation of the Labor Day holiday. Offices will return to normal hours and classes will resume as usual on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd. We hope everyone has a fun and safe long weekend!
The NTCC women’s soccer team turned in a dominant performance on the road, defeating Richland College 4–1 on Saturday night. The Eagles controlled the pace from the opening whistle and never looked back, securing an important victory, heading conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Freshman striker Kirsheema Ince had a standout performance, recording a hat trick to lead the NTCC attack. Ince opened the scoring in the first half and added two more goals after the break to put the game firmly in the Eagles’ control.
Welcome home, Eagles! Northeast Texas Community College teamed up with the Living Truth Fellowship, the Mount Pleasant Titus County Chamber of Commerce and Titus Regional Medical Center this week to host a free cookout lunch for dorm residents and their families on move-in day.
The Northeast Texas Community College Continuing Education Department is now enrolling for its next HVAC Installer Helper Program, which begins September 23, 2025.

The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Police Department officially welcomed its newest officer, Daniel Madden, during a swearing-in ceremony held on campus this week.
Chief of Police Russell Radke administered the oath of office to Officer Madden, who was then presented his badge by his training officer, Sergeant Greg Hollingsworth. NTCC President Dr. Kevin Rose followed by presenting Madden with his official certificate of commission.
