Public Information Requests

Requests for information under the Texas Public Information Act should be made to:

In accordance with the Texas Public Information Act, Northeast Texas Community College may assess the following charges for public information requests that result in more than 50 pages of information. No copy charges will be assessed for requests of fewer than 50 black and white pages (though other charges for labor and/or technical support may still be assessed).


Copies: .10 cents per page (b&w) .20 cents per page (color)

Scanning: .10 cents per page

Labor: $15 per hour

Technical Support (computer programming, etc.): $20 per hour

Indirect Costs (overhead):  20% of total labor cost

Postage: Applicable postage cost

E-mail Delivery: No extra charge for delivery



CD $1 each

DVD $2 each

Flash Drive $10 each

Other: Determined upon request 


For requests that result in more than 50 pages, but results in charges less than $100, NTCC will provide an invoice with the delivery of the requested information. For requests of more than $100, requestors will be notified of the cost within the legal response time and will be asked to pay in advance of receiving information. Should a response not be received by the requestor within 10 business days, the request shall be considered withdrawn per the Texas Public Information Act.
