The East Texas Police Academy offers the Basic Peace Officer Course (BPOC) through Kilgore College, with classes held on the campus of Northeast Texas Community College. This program provides a local training option for individuals pursuing a career in law enforcement while meeting Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) requirements.
All enrollment and admissions are handled through Kilgore College.
