Northeast Texas Community College is hosting an area-wide Alphabet Photography Contest that is open to NTCC students, employees and the general public. Cash prizes totaling $500 will be given for winning photographs.

Each photo should creatively depict one letter ? either N, T or C. The winning images will be combined to create artwork that will be displayed on the NTCC campus. All images must be shot on college property†(main campus and/or outreach centers)†and individuals may submit up to four images for consideration. There is no cost to enter and the contest is open to all ages.

"We think this is a fun way to obtain artwork that has real meaning to our campus. There are wonderfully talented, creative people on our campus and in our community and we look forward to seeing what they come up with for this contest," Sherry Hoppock, Director of the NTCC College Store, said.

Entries should be submitted digitally no later than Tuesday, Feb. 14. All images should be e-mailed to†jweber@ntcc.edu†along with contact information and where the photos were taken. Individuals submitting more than one image should send all images together.

Each†winner†will receive $125†per letter†(N-T-C-C)†and photographers may win with more than one letter†(up to four letters). NTCC retains exclusive rights to all submitted images. Questions regarding the contest should be directed to Jodi Weber, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, at 903-434-8114 or†jweber@ntcc.edu.
